tiko and i finally hung out after how many months. last time i saw him, was last summer at sol fest, when he and april came down to watch us perform. it was so peace to see him again. he is an amaaaaaaaazing artist and i draw much energy and inspiration from him. i really want to help out in showcasing his work. he has this gothic/80's punk collage feel with definite contemporary influences of graphic design of today- but it is all paint. and he paints HUGE! you really can't contain his emotions or message on a 8x10 canvas.

he also read my vents on the previous day and helped me out just listening to me rant. gave me great advice (mostly on the boys issue) as well as a listening ear. that is all i really needed.

his artist loft is pretty shnazzy too. it's like a monster's love shack. it has furry walls, red lights, mannequins with gas masks, paraphenalia of horror flicks, his sculptures and of course, his paintings. i can't wait till he has an open house. he wants to turn his loft into an art gallery. he even wants to showcase my work as well.

we are definitely hanging out more because we were brainstorming on so many ideas and projects.

(( sigh )) 2003 is just turning out just lovely...
