Thought this was a good analogy for wordsmiths to keep in mind.

Mark Twain liked to tell his audiences that when he wrote classics, including "Huckleberry Finn," he was mindful always that the difference between a word that will merely do and the exact right word is "the difference between a lightning bug and lightning."


a bit of advice passed down to me by my best friend, miko. it is kinda eerie. i should have taken heed of it today. it would have saved me alot of frustration. but needless to say, i take what i know and i move on. insight still shines thru, regardless. and as long as i still have discernment, i shall always be at a better place.
