ain't it funny...

ain't it funny how people think that the war is over when really, it is not. and how the world now shifted their views to shows like "the bachelor" and "american idol"? ain't it funny how not everybody knows that congress is thinking of passing US patriot act 2 ( not like the first one is any better) where the following can be implemented:

1. Increases secret surveillance.
2.Increases control over immigrants.
3.Establishes new crimes, criminal procedures, and sanctions.
4 Names new death penalty crimes.
5 Grants right to autopsy.
6 Decreases access to public information.
7 Establishes a new terrorist-related DNA database.
8 Alters procedure for taking away U.S. citizenship.
9 Allows extradition without treaty and expanded deportation.

ain't if funny how people think that if a person is pro-peace/anti- war that that person is not supporting troops, when in actuality, he/she prays for them to come home and stop fighting. ain't it funny how the bush still has not found osama bin laden. ain't it funny how teachers are getting laid off? how convenient it is to recruit more highschoolers to the military. ain't it funny how if a celebrity actually speaks out against the war, their careers goes to shit but yet r kelley just keeps coming with some cheesy ass r-n-b song while his ass was video taped having sex with a minor? aint it funny how we continue to live like we know what is going on, yet act like we don't care. ain't it funny how even though i am an american citizen who pays taxes and votes that no matter how much i try to educate myself, how much i pray, my heart is not liberated?

thought of the day: can you love someone and be with someone who is not your soulmate? is it possible that your soulmate is someone who is not romantic in nature? or is your soul mate the one you marry?

RJesena: you soul mate doesn't have to be your husband/wife, it could be your best friend, your neighbor, or even your dog...

ARCHON236: 1st question....yes, it's possible to be with someone that is not your soulmate, otherwise we wouldn't have exes.
ARCHON236: 2. yes. but i think being romantic is subjective. you have to define your sense of romance. and there are many people who view the "not-romantic-by-socially-accepted-terms" as the one who brings balance to the force.

faith santilla: your sould mate should be the one you marry
faith santilla but that doesn't happen all the time
faith santilla then again, your soulmate could be your soulmate, but could be a complete fuck and not someone you want to have a marriage with
faith santilla: and your soulmate could be someone that is not romantic in nature. but that person is definitely not mine, because i like having sex too much

vanessawithamg: YES. YOU CAN LOVE SOMEONE WHO IS NOT YOUR SOULMATE. AND NO YOUR SOULMATE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE SOMEONE ROMANTICALLY.. I MEAN WHAT IF YOUR LITTLE DOG SNIFFLES SATISFIES ALL OF YOUR EMOTIONAL NEEDS (EXCEPT THE PHYSICAL ONES OF COURSE!).. THEY YOU'D HAVE TO GO OUT AND FIND A HUMAN TO MATE WITH.. BUT THE HUMAN WOULDN'T BE YOUR SOULMATE..
vanessawithamg: BESIDES.. WHEN FINDING A HUMAN MATE, THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY SOCIALLY DEPENDANT VARIABLES.. LIKE IF HE HAS BO, OR BAD TABLE MANNERS, OR IF HE HAS BACK HAIR
vanessawithamg: SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT MOST PEOPLE MARRY THE PERSON THEY HAPPEN TO BE WITH WHEN THEY FEEL READY TO SETTLE DOWN RATHER THAN WAITING FOR THE RIGHT PERSON TO MARRY
vanessawithamg: THAT'S NOT CONDUCIVE FOR A SOULMATE SITUATION
vanessawithamg: OH YEAH.. IF YOUR DOG SNIFFLES HAS BO, BAD TABLE MANNERS AND BACK HAIR ITS ALL GOOD

i was told that JR was my soulmate. i was also told that i will not be with him. i was also told that we have more than one soulmate. so to my soulmate (the romantic one), i am waiting till your butt goes thru the life lessons needed to strengthen you so you can be with me. trust me, god is chiseling me as we speak and he is chiseling HARD.
