100th monkey
listenin’: “breathe” by mystic
sippin’: fresh buko juice
aromatherapy: golden nag champa
feenin’: for serenity
spearituals delivered again. It was L’s “earth day
and return to Saturn” celebration. You know, I dig
exchanging ideas with L. The man is on some
metaphysical level. I always learn something about
myself or learn to put words to what I believe in. we
talked about his aunt and uncle who studies prahna,
the life force in which all living things possess,
seeing energy, knowing the colors of ones auras, and
harnessing chi.
We talked about how people obtain energy by either
exchanging with god, exchanging energies from one
another, and the most hurtful way, taking and stealing
it from one another.
He asked if I read “the 100th monkey”
I said “no”
He proceeds:
-2 monkey populations are separated by a river.
-They never interact with each other because of this river.
-One monkey on one population figures about using a bone as a tool.
-The knowledge is passed down to each monkey.
-By the time the 100th monkey learns the piece of knowledge, a monkey on the other population across the river figures out the same revelation.
Conclusion: that we as a people are somehow connected
telepathically and that we all go thru the same
journeys finding out the same revelations. In every
culture and in every society, we come to the same
conclusions on certain things; we just express it
differently. Expression different/ message the same.
But it is funny how each culture and society claim
their thought as original.
Then I started thinking about how America is built on
illusions. How people fail to see truths or find truth
to be painful so they project what they want to see by
claiming their perceptions as fact. We are a nation of
people who base their views on assumptions.
funny… that is chapter 4 in the book “the four
agreements”, a book on Toltec wisdom. “don’t make
assumptions.”

before i get to working
let me vent...
i want coffee. i want coffee and a pink crueller. i want to dip that donut... no, i want to douse that donut in my coffee. i want that coffee to be hella strong. the kind of strong where the mere sniff of the aroma is enough to waken any slumbering senses. no acidic coffee. just a robust, full bodied coffee. like italian roast, or kona, maybe sumatra...no... kona.. definitely kona...
wendell stopped by at 1:30am on his way home to drop me off a chocolate crueller. whatta pal....

so far so good!!!
feedback on the first freelance job... this has been forwarded to me...
==============
"Hell yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[sweetie-that-got-me-the-job], you hooked it up, brother!! This website is totally off the hook! I really really like it a lot.
[cut out stuff not relevant to me here]
[sweetie-that-got-me-the-job], thank you so much for this. I'd really like to meet your friend/colleague, the artist, because she is really good!"

ok, so far so good.
just got back from san diego today. it was a three hour ride thanks to the morning traffic jam that i seemed to have forgotten.
when i got home, i crashed. i am slowly turning nocturnal. i don't like this. i am going to attribute to this as part of my moon phase. i had cramps and a headache that made me crawl into bed and sleep thru all the judge shows, ambush makeovers, and talk shows.
i haaaaave to try to sleep tonight. i have to regulate myself to work during the day and not at night. but i have things due so tonight will not be the night. phoooey...
tip of the day
if you are going to be self employed, you are going to have to be more disciplined in sticking to your schedule. now is the time to not procrastinate if you want to have a good reputation. after all, you are your own boss, own recruiter, own HR.
i have season one and two of "sex in the city" right now. looks like it is going to be nag champa, a couple glasses of muscat of alexandria that miko got me, photoshop, html codes, and sex in the city. see you in the afternoon.
