i love that quote. i so needed to hear that. patience is a virtue that is worth learning. i pretty much have it down packed but sometimes i just need to be reminded.

paez and i started a workout regimine. he and i have to report each other every single day. that can be very humbling. it also draws me to be introspective. here i am taking inventory of every single thing that i do for the day- what i ate, how i burned them, my emotional state. there are so many things i do that is subconcious like munch at my desk or munch when i drive. if that is the case, what about the trillion things we do every day that we are programmed to do? we do things automatically in a catotonic state. we get up; we get ready;we go to our jobs; we get off of work; we go home and veg; we go to sleep. i myself am quite busy but even that becomes to be a routine. i have to seriously start making a conscious effort to know exactly what i am doing, done to very simplistic thing. i have to remember why i do things- why i work, why i write, why i eat , why i go to community events, why i perform. maybe then i remember why i smile and why i cry. it makes the days so much more sweeter.

life is good. i can't complain. but i can't rave either. i feel like i am in a metamophisis stage of my life. i am in this huge coccoon where i honestly need to let whatever processes my heart, mind and soul want to go through. but it is hard for my body wants to stay active. i cant stay silent . but i always feel that i need to stop speaking to God and let him answer my questions. sometimes God whispers the answers in my ear and if i need to stop speaking in order to catch it. i want to break this code of life right now. i need to savor it and just enjoy the journey.

i am actually taking inventory on trying to find the reason why certain people are introduced in my life. i don't believe that life is a coincidence. i feel that each person i meet , whether they are positive experience or negative experience, brings a lesson about life that is important in my shaping. i need to show more of my appreciation of people, both minor and major roles.

on an elevated note: i spoke to my father today! haven't talked to him since January. i miss that man. but his words rejuvenated me once again!
